Visiting Derby

This weekend we went to Des Moines to visit Georgia's cousin Derby. Derby is almost 3 months old but was born 8 weeks early. She is still in the hospital and we're praying that she will get better soon and be able to go home before another month passes. Ben was able to hold her -- carefully. With so many wires and tubes connected to her, I declined my offer to hold her and decided I'd take pictures instead. She's a sweetie and it was so cute to see her crack a smile when she heard her mommy's voice.

This trip to Des Moines was also a chance for the family to see Georgia again. Here she is with her great Grandma Ruth.

Georgia doesn't understand that there is a difference between her bottles and our bottles. She thinks that any can, cup or bottle will give her milk and pulls them to her mouth.
