Cousin Derby came to KC to get a second opinion at Children's Mercy and they agreed with everything that the Iowa hospital is doing. It was nice getting to see them while they were here. Georgia adores Derby and talks about her all the time.

So sometimes potty training doesn't quite go as hoped. On this day it was more fun to put the seat on her head but last night she did sit on her little potty and go. We haven't been working on potty training but if she wants to sit, we encourage it. If we ask and she doesn't want to, we don't push. If she sits, she gets a star sticker.

Georgia has been practicing emotions and the facial expressions that go with those emotions.
This is her mad face. My mom said she was looking for Georgia at their house and finally discovered her in my dad's closet, standing in front of the mirror making faces. She did mad, happy, excited, and sad faces over and over and over. Of course she didn't know anyone was watching her.

Georgia LOVES to walk around in my high heels. And the louder they are, the better.
We occasionaly throw out some spanish words when we're talking about something...so when we're driving I'll say "Georgia, see the house...casa" and explain that casa is the spanish word for house. So now when we count I ask her if she wants to do it in English or Spanish. Sometimes she just mixes the two. She prefers saying 3 and 5 in Spanish because she likes how they sound, but she giggles when she does that because she knows what it should be if we're doing English.
